So, here are three delicious No-Cook Recipes to help keep you cool while cutting down on kitchen time. Leaving more space in your day to savor what matters most to you.
Shrimp & Avocado Salad
A hearty salad perfect for hot summer days, with a touch of zest and spice from Auntie Nono’s Seafood Seasoning.
Ingredients
For the salad:
- ½ pound shrimp peeled, deveined, and fully cooked. (This can be purchased fully cooked from the grocery store)
- 1 head of romaine lettuce
- 2 avocados, sliced
- Auntie Nono’s Seafood Seasoning
For the dressing:
- Juice of 1 fresh lime
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- A pinch of salt
- Freshly ground pepper
For the garnish:
- ¼ cup Greek yogurt
- Cherry tomatoes, halved
- Chopped cilantro leaves
- Anything you have in the fridge! Add leftover quinoa for more fiber.
Directions
- First, make the dressing. Combine all the dressing ingredients and whisk together until smooth and combined. Adjust lime and honey as desired for a sweeter or sourer dressing.
- In a bowl, toss the shrimp with a shake or two of Auntie Nono’s Seafood Seasoning.
- Assemble your salad: Build romaine lettuce leaves at the base of your serving platter. Spoon over some dressing over the leaves, then add the shrimp and avocado. Drizzle the remaining dressing, yogurt, cherry tomatoes, and cilantro, and enjoy!
Watermelon, Cucumber, and Feta Salad with a Twist
A simple but unique summer salad that is the perfect refresher on a hot evening paired with a barbecue. Made with cucumbers, feta, and added kick with Auntie Nono’s Firecracker Sea Salt Seasoning.
Ingredients
For the salad:
- 3 cups watermelon, cubed or balled
- 1 ½ cups cucumber, sliced and seeds removed
- 1/3 cup feta, crumbled
- ¼ cup mint, chopped
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Auntie Nono’s Firecracker Sea Salt Seasoning.
Directions
- For the dressing, whisk olive oil and lemon juice together.
- Mix watermelon, cucumber, and mint in a bowl. Sprinkle Auntie Nono’s Firecracker Sea Salt Seasoning over and toss.
- Drizzle the dressing over and sprinkle crumbled feta on top. Toss and add salt and pepper as desired. Enjoy!
Tangy Chicken Wraps
Wraps have never been easier than this! Enjoy shredded chicken flavored with Auntie Nono’s Everything Seasoning on a bed of lettuce and a flatbread.
Ingredients
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon lime zest
- Pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Naan flatbreads
- Rotisserie chicken, deboned and shredded
- A few leaves of romaine lettuce
- Chopped cilantro leaves
- Auntie Nono’s Everything Seasoning
Directions
- For the dressing, whisk the first five ingredients together.
- Place the shredded chicken in a bowl. Sprinkle Auntie Nono’s Everything Seasoning over and toss.
- Mix the dressing with the seasoned chicken.
- Build in a flatbread over a leaf of romaine lettuce. Enjoy!
